Hello, All!

Hello everybody! Hope everyone had a great Halloween. I know i did! Me and my friend Kayley dressed up as Dwight Schrute and Jim Halpert from The Office, complete with our own nametags and briefcases. We got so much candy that we pooled our candy that we wanted to donate and ended up filling another whole trick-or-treat bag to give away. We saw some pretty amazing houses and enjoyed some scary movies afterward. I have my last cross country meet today at around 2ish. Im pretty excited that its finally going to be over! haha im just kidding, i will miss it like crazy. Its pretty exciting though because last meet was my best of the season and i got my personal record and 2 of the girls on our team made it to States which is amazing seeing as we only have 12 girls on the entire team. School has been going pretty good, we got a day off today so I've been enjoying the time to relax. I've been keeping super busy with schoolwork, cross country, Mayors Youth Council (if I had known how much time I would be spending with it before I joined, I probably wouldn't have! :] i love it though), and friends. I'm very excited about Thanksgiving, I already put up all the fall/Thanksgiving decorations and the entire family is pretty excited.

Let me know how all of you are doing, I would love to know!
Love, Steph

sorrrry again:] part 2

kay so apparently i forgot some updates that are totally crucial! one is we went on a family reunion with the latham side of my family, and we went to Seattle, Whistler, and Vancouver (where the next olympics are being held!) and we went BUNGEE JUMPING!!! it was a 160 feet drop off a bridge over a river with rapids and the greenest, tallest trees you can imagine. it was extremely scary at first, but now i am completely immune to roller coasters, heights, ziplines, anything. the only thing that can top that is skydiving (which i will do one day:]) and i want to go hot air ballooning. In Whistler we also went ziplining and went on a gandala ride, etc. it was very fun. I have a video of me jumping off the bridge on facebook. if you don't have a facebook (my profile is private) and want to see it, email me at xxmechamx2013@aol.com and i will send you a link.

i also went to cross country camp (look at my facebook photo album under XC CAMP TIMBERS for pics) it was a full 8 days (probably the longest 8 days of my life) with running super hard runs twice a day but it was filled with fun stuff like biathalons, put putting, waterslides, ziplines, archery, tube slides, horseback riding, kayaking, canoeing, high ropes course, rock-climbing, and so much more. It was in the middle of nowhere, so i got no cell service :/ sad.

i also went to girls camp for young women. it was 4 days in the campsite we went to before, so i was familiar with it. it was pretty fun, except for the hike which we had to leave for at 5 in the morning. i thought it was hard at the time because we had to hike 5 miles. little did i know that less than a week after, i would be running more than that distance:/ again, look on my profile on facebook under girls camp for pictures. (oh and bungee jumping pictures are on there too)

The only other things i have been doing this summer really is cross country practice (they seriously take forever) and recovering from the practices! haha. i have become so close with all the girls since there is only 11 on the team that they are almost sisters. i might put a picture of all of us on here.

Also, some high school stories! 400 500 intersection at FHS is absolutely crazy. It has 3 monitors constantly, and it is even worse than the mosh pits at the Warped Tour. Put 100 crazy high school students in one intersection all rushing to classes, and its not a pretty sight! It takes almost the entire passing time to go through that. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. hehe! i should take a picture of it one day....remind me!

Totally not done with my update. If you wanna no more, check my facebook or email me. Keep me posted! love you all.

sorrrry again:]

sorry i hardly ever come on this blog and when i do i hardly ever post:/
high school is going pretty good so far, a lot of my teachers are good and i've been running with the cross country team since late june. its totally hard, but my efforts are finally paying off! im also thinking of running for student council (ahhH! its really competitive here:[ ) and im in S.A.D.D. (students against drunk driving) and spanish club. school has been pretty crazy the first week but i'm sure it'll settle down. thanks for checking up on us!

brett and mallory both enjoyed watching the notre dame vs. michigan game today (huge sibling rivalry, anyone?) its pretty crazy being the only kid at home...dont like it at all! oh well haha.

keep me posted on whats going on with you! i'll probably update you again in like forever!
